Help your Spirit during COVID-19

Updated: Apr 27, 2020

Holy Land Man discusses how you can help your spirit during the pandemic. Churches are closed, social distancing is implemented, and quarantine is a rule which prevents us from meeting and having fellowship with each other.

While there are lots of debate whether the epidemic is beneficial or not, it is still important to check up on our spiritual lives. Here are some of the things you can try to improve your meditation and spiritual journey during COVID-19.

1. Set a time and commit to this routine.

It doesn't matter if you are a morning person or a night owl, as long as you set a consistent time to meditate and reflect at least once a day. During the pandemic, most of us may not really pay attention to time and day and may focus on things like the news and necessities. Some of us may lose track and forget that it is already Sunday!

By having this routine, you will monitor your daily spiritual growth as well!

2. Check on others as well.

"Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer." Hebrews 10:25 GNT

It is true that we need to avoid crowds and social gathering, but you can always use social media platforms to talk with your spiritual buddies. You may never know, they need someone and are struggling themselves! You can also set a time to meditate together so there is something you can look forward to.

3. Listen to podcasts and live streams.

There are a lot of spiritual leaders who take their messages online, for FREE! Check this audio from Holy Land Man.

Share your experiences on how you check up on your spiritual life. Hoping to hear from you soon!
